It's very important at least to remember three things:

• Put your name in addition to the photo titles 
• Make sure to send your pics to Janelle Dominica
• Make sure this will happen before November 10

"The 100.000 Linden Heads is celebrating with the touch of a renowned professional photographer, Maghda Whitewood, one of the most successful events on the VdO sim.  Successful in the way of showing how generous are the member and the management of this sim. 
Thanks to our "donors" 118.909 Linden has been raised and donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation."

Please note that after the event the music will continue at the nearby Rooftop with DJ Daddy 3-5 PM .

Maghda Whitewood Profile

Maghda Whitewood (Artist identity of Palesa Spindrift ) - RL Photographer from Denmark.
I've been working in commercial photography - design, furniture, living, architecture, music (covers, magazines), portraits etc.
Here in SL I have found artistic freedom and new ways to explore and express myself.
I meet so many talented people from all over the world, learning from them and being continuously inspired.
I enjoy working in different set-ups as locations in Second Life, studio/fixed scenes and greenscreen.
I usually work with multiple layers/mixed-in real life photography, adding light and mixing colours.
So Photoshop is a crucial tool in my process.
I also do a variety of jobs in Second Life.
Although i have to say, increasingly i tend to work more with the artistic non-commercial photography.

Halloween !!! Come Party at Roissy VdO !! October 31st

Roissy Val d'Oise is celebrating Halloween not with one but with two parties and you're free to pick up the one of your preference or ,  even better, joining both !!

The first one will start at 1 PM SLT, right there in the Chateau Garden.  
We will have a special DJ guest : Maitre René in person !

And to add to the magic we will hold a special contest for best costumes ... rumors are telling us that the two winners ( One among men and one among women) will get a cash prize of 1500 L each !!




...and more rumors are about the fact that Cerina Zeplin, the owner of "Something else"  store will offer to beautiful (and useful !) spanking chairs !!






So be there sharp on time and make sure to get yourself on the board, it's worth to !!

You are all invited to participate in the prestigious and well known Photography Contest of Roissy VdO 2013.

Your challenge this year will be to picture and express the inner beauty of our gorgeous home and its family spirit.

Important prizes will be assigned and the picture selected as winner will become the new official picture of the sim, as selected by the Proprietaire Renè in person.

Here the schedule of the contest:

• October 16: Contest begins
• November 22: Deadline , All pics sent to Janelle Dominica - please add your name to each pics title
• November 24: Sim Wide contest display and presentation on the sim's blog - The pictures are open for voting.
• December 8 :  Blog Voting ends, Garden party Dance: winners announced
• December 15: Sim show ends, gallery show starts

Please read a few simple rules for the contest , as follows:

VdO Photo Contest Rules
"Find the poetry and beauty of your home and family at VdO"
1. The picture must be taken using SL tools, Photoshop editing is allowed
2. No nudity or sex
3. No interior building pictures including private homes and sky boxes.
4. Maximum size is 2 meters square.
5. Maximum number of pictures is 2 per person.
6. All pictures to be copy, mod and trans.
7. All pictures submitted to Janelle Dominica on a note card with a very short chat about their inspiration.
8. All the pictures will be visible on the sim blog (http://theroissyvdopost.blogspot.com ) and will be voted by members of the sim.
9. The first three pictures will be evaluated by the sim owner Rene and he will decide select the final winner.
10. All contestants agree to give their entry's to VdO and Master Renee for VdO use as he sees fit at any time and for use on the sim blog.

We are very pleased to announce that a new management for the refined Roissy Val d'Oise Art Gallery has been appointed .

From now on the exhibits at the Gallery will be co-curated by Janelle Dominica and Palesa Spindrift.

They are currently very busy in the preparation of a dense calendar of exhibition and the official opening will be announced soon.

Smooth Sunday with Scooter - October 13th 1-2 PM

The very much awaited appointment of our Sunday it's all lined up for your enjoyment and pleasure!

For our event hosted by our beautiful Deb Joy we will have with us Scooter !

Scooter has performed for many years in RL singing a variety of different styles of music with a strong influence in jazz, blues and the old standards, however she mixed it up with a little bit of this and a little bit of that!  She is always adding to her play list with a variety of songs and styles. Many of her tracks have all been prepared for her by a very talented keyboard player with a few midi tracks thrown in that have been customized just for her.  She is an "entertainer" and love to make sure that her events are filled with fun, laughter and good music!

I came to VDO lost, abandoned, broken and wanting acceptance; people whom understood me and would here me.  The short time I have been here I have been able to over come some obstacles that other wise i would not have alone.  I want to thank all those that have grown to know me with our long discussions and my endless questions.  For those I have not yet met I do look forward to meeting and developing a growing lasting friendship.

"My name is Angie... well, actually it is Angelika, but everyone just calls me Angie. I came to Roissy seeking an SL avenue to further explore my RL submissiveness. I tried the world of Gor before - i enjoyed the submissive side of it, but a lot of other aspects were not for me... 

Despite my submissive side, I can be stubborn and headstrong. It takes a special man to make me respect Him so much that I want to submit to Him - but when i do, i am very loyal and want to please Him in all respects by being the best submissive i can be. 

I love elegance, style, class, sophistication, and intelligent roleplay - one of the reasons why Roissy VdO is a better fit for me than other D/s sims. And I absolutely enjoy the classes and discussions with other subs and the Doms, including constructive criticism and feedback. After all, one of the pleasures of life is to constantly learn, to get better at something and be more knowledgeable about it. 

For me, Roissy VdO is about my personal growth as a submissive.. both in terms of spiritual growth and in terms of knowledge. And maybe, just maybe, i will even find amongst all the Masters the one that i will call "my Master" one day..

I very much look forward to the next phase of my training as a demoiselles, to meet many wonderful sisters and Masters and to learn from and through them and to grow with their help.

From the deep of our hearts the whole sim management want to thank and congratulate ALL of YOU !

Generosity and passion can be seen looking at this numbers here : 101,500 L raised to support Breast Cancer Society !

So conratulations go to frost for her event, and many thanks are going to everyone else working and supporting this event, thanks for making it enjoyable and fun and thanks for understanding the rationale behind it !

I am here for the boobs! - Rules for the event

You can all contribute and now it's really time TO DO IT !!!


So how it will work ?

• Every Dominant and every Submissive are free to come to the center of the stage and offer their hair for good cause .
• They will declare if they are up for headshave (bald) , or short cut (tail cut) or pubic shave .
• Then the auction will start , and even the person offering is free to put an auction to keep her hair, if they will be the winner they are allowed to keep their hair.
• The winner will then need to put the offer in the tip jar available at the event.
• After that the winner will have the privilege to actually execute the cut
• There are minimum offers to be made :
• 200 L for short cut
• 400 L for headshave
• 400 L for pubis
• 1000 L for both
• Everyone being cut or shaved must commit to stay like that for a minimum of one week , SL time.
• All the cutting activities will take place at the end of the complete auction possibly, so there won't be confusion.

I am here for the boobs! - Demoiselle Frost event - Oct 3rd - 4-6 PM SLT

You can all contribute !!

Demoiselle frost will hold her event next thursday "I am here for the boobs!"
All of you can donate your hair and there will be auctions for them (the more will be offered, the more will be cut , up to full head shave) . Not only girls can donate but men as well of course.
In addition everyone will also be free to bid to execute the haircut/hairshave for the people who will offer themselves.

It will be for a GREAT CAUSE : all lindens raised will go to breast cancer society and will help.

So make your contribution and offer you hair for auction, and act quickly contacting Demoiselle Frost or Maitre Jon Blogger.

Note: it will also be possible to bid to "save" your hair and everyone should commit to keep his/her hair the way they will be for at least one week.
